The short version

Some links on https://thesolaceliving.net are affiliate links. If you click one and buy something, we may earn a small commission. It costs you nothing extra, and it helps keep the site running. Our opinions are our own, and a commission never decides what we recommend.

An affiliate link looks like an ordinary link to a retailer, but it carries a code that tells the retailer we sent you. When you purchase after clicking, the retailer pays us a percentage of the sale as a thank-you for the referral. The price you pay is exactly the same as if you had visited the retailer directly.

Most of our affiliate links point to well-known retailers and appear inside stories where we mention a specific product, for example a linen duvet cover or a pair of leather loafers. We do not disguise them: they sit in the normal flow of the article, and this page plus our footer explain the program sitewide. Where a story was built around affiliate partnerships, we say so in the story itself.

Our editorial independence

Commissions do not buy coverage. We write about pieces we genuinely like and would suggest to a friend, and we regularly mention products with no affiliate relationship at all. If a product disappoints us, we say so or we leave it out. No brand pays for placement, ranking, or a positive review on The Solace Living.
